Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab

Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab is a retired General Spiritual Director of New Kadampa Tradition-International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU), our National Spiritual Director of Canada, and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada in Toronto.

His powerful and penetrating teachings and pure example reflect his many years of reliance on his spiritual guide, his study and meditation practice, and experience of unifying Kadam Dharma with his busy daily life.

Gen-la Khyenrab is deeply respected throughout the Kadampa world as a sincere practitioner and powerful teacher.

Gen-la will grant the empowerment, and give three Teachings on Saturday and Sunday.

A photo of Gen Kelsang SandenGen Kelsang Sanden is a Canadian Buddhist monk, and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Vancouver. He has been a long time student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.  He is well loved for his compassion, sense of humour and the clarity of his teachings. He will lead the Friday evening Introduction.
Kelsang Khacho is a modern Buddhist nun who has been a devoted student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for many years. She is known for her loving and compassionate nature, as well as her practical presentation of Buddha’s teachings. She will guide the meditation on Saturday morning.
A photo of Gen Kelsang RigdenGen Kelsang Rigden has been studying and teaching Modern Kadampa Buddhism internationally for many years in places such as England, Barbados and Canada. Gen Rigden is known for her warm-hearted disposition and presents the teachings in a clear and accessible way. She will guide the Sunday morning meditation.
